I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes shareholders and a tough heroine who fights for love and place in the universe. It's a story of love and adventure and of finding your one true mate. Thanks for another Awesome book.

The book is a standalone but it's more enjoyable if you read the first Book about Ryia's parents. Ryia is a huntress and the first female born to her people. Her father wants to protect, but it's in her nature to fight and be free. She explores while visiting Earth and is caught while in her shifter form, looking like a panther. A prince with no morals steals her for his menagerie. When stolen an brought on board, she's caged and meets her mate. He's a diplomat and this part annoyed me. He recognizes that she's his mate but rejects her because he feels that he needs to solve the intergalactic problem that his prince created. It gets to the point where she goes into heat and he still ignores her and only came to her when she was at the point of madness and other men are being drawn to her room. That part really bothered me. I thought he should've come to her sooner. He never apologized either. After that they were mates but had to deal with conflict from the prince.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I love this addition to the series. I really like how it picks up with the some characters from the previous book, The Hunter's Mate, in this case Hale and Reyna's baby (the first born Cantari daughter). This is her Fated-mate love story. As both the first born female Cantari and Huntress, it's going to be hard for her. She is treasured but wants to be treated as the Huntress she knows she is. The males in her life want to protect her to the point of smothering. All that changes when she is kidnapped by a smarmy Prince, inciting a possible intergalactic war. All the way she finds her Fated-mate, jealousy, murder, and some space battles ensue. Along with some steamy bedroom scenes that include some red bottoms, too!! (not always in the bedroom; they're pretty inventive). It's a quick read with a great plot and fun alpha characters.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the first book of Morganna Williams I've read and was pleasantly surprised. She's presented a world of shifters in a futuristic setting that has never crossed my path, making me quite intrigued with the entire scenerio. The plotline ran seamlessly throughout the story and the developing characters made it easy to relate to their personalities. It said it was a stand alone, and I would agree, I had no problem following the story as there was no buildup or reference to a previous tale. As I finished the book, I realized there was more here than met the eye and discovered there was a book previous to this one and I'm sure more to come. I'm not disappointed, just anxious now to get the first book so I have more pieces to a delightful, PNR with all spanking goodness that comes with it.

This is a new author to me & I will honestly admit that I really enjoyed reading this futuristic romance. The plot is interesting, well-thought out & written. The characters are quite unique with complex personalities & display realistic emotional reactions to the situations they find themselves in.There is: a defiant Cantari female warrior & huntress is captured & caged (Ryia), a Andurian commander determined to return Ryia to her home world but soon discovers that she is his mate (Barrick Andel), a spoilt obnoxious prince (Prince Eagert), twists & turns, intrigue suspense, devious plans, high treason, murder, evil, a unsanctioned hunt, abduction, threats, violence, attractions, denial, emotional turmoil, spankings, mating, jealousy, a caring family, escape, conflict, justice, happiness, love, steamy scenes & a well-deserved happy ending.I really would recommend this futuristic romance to people who enjoy reading this genre.“I received a complimentary copy from Booksprout, and this is my honest opinion”

I loved this book! This is the second book about Cantari and Hunters. I can't wait to read more about them.Ryia is the first female Cantari shifter as well as the first Huntress. She still hunts with her parents and long to find her mate. One night, she is mistaken as a panther and taken as a prize for a spoiled prince. She is taken to the ship where she finds her mate. Commander Barrick Andel is unprepared to meet his mate as the kidnapped woman of the prince. He tries to stay away from her until he can return her to her father. He promised that no harm will come to her in his custody but fate has a way of getting them together. When she is taken, he will stop at nothing in getting her back?I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I enjoyed this book and liked many things about it but there were a few things I didn't. This is Ryia & Barrick's story. I loved how Ryia was Hale and Reyna's daughter (The Hunter's Mate). It was great to reconnect with this couple. I thought the chemistry between these two was steamy. I was not a fan of Barrick's dedication to what he felt was his duty over what should have been his duty to his mate. It just wasn't right and the worst thing was I never got the feeling that he regretted his actions or his inaction whichever the case warranted in pursuit of his duty. Does contain hot scenes that included spankings. This is my truthful, voluntary review.

His Caged Mate by Morganna Williams integrates outer space and the paranormal in Ryia and Barrick’s steamy adventure romance. Destined to be mates their chemistry is off the charts. I thought the story moved well and the characters were likable. I enjoyed how Barrick accepted Ryia as his equal in battle and Ryia accepted his dominance in the bedroom.I received an advance reader copy via Booksprout.
