Because animal law is not a traditional legal field, the book is largely framed according to traditional legal headings such as tort, contract, criminal, and constitutional law. There's a wealth of material in this book, some of it quite disturbing, but it's useful for anyone wanting to learn more about how the law works and how to change the laws and their enforcement.

It's good for me

good condition

Mandatory text for Animal Law class. Most of text is very balanced and well written, but tends to favor animal rights rather than animal welfare arguments- seems to be biased against some animal industries like Rodeo, horse racing, and circus. Other than that, a great book to have in your law library.

Way more marked up than i expected. Very distracting and very disappointed this was the case. Not happy with the purchase.

I received a book different from the book pictured. However, the text was the same as the one book pictured.
