Was great to have this handy for the TH350 rebuild. Only minor complaint is not enough photos. My own massive photoset from the methodic part by part tear down saved me a few times for bearing, thrust washer, and a few other item orientations that were not detailed in this book for the occasional rebuilder like me. However, that being said, the explanations and instructions were invaluable to have during the project. Definitely worth the purchase. Just make sure to take lots of pics, notes and bag and label every part as a matter of good practice. Doing this and having this book will make a TH350 rebuild doable for anyone with the right tools and a bit of knowhow.

The book was delivered on time and in new condition. The price of the book was very reasonable compared to all the information it contained. I am the process of rebuilding a big block motor so I thought I would attempt the transmission next. I have never tore into a transmission before but after reading thru the book I think I will have enough info to complete the rebuild of my transmission. There are special tools that you need to help withthe tear down and assembly of your transmission so I was a little irritated that no specs were given to help build your tools. As a toolmaker in the skilled trades I can figure out what I need to build fixtures and jigs. There is a bunch of info on the web for tool design for spring compressors so it takes a little bit of research to find the right one. I will reevaluate this book once I complete my rebuild on my transmission.

This THM 350 manual's for the shop. Its got great pic's to reference, for those that might need a little refreshing of the memory. Plus a bit of insight into upgraded parts. Recommended.

This manual goes much deeper into detail of installation. It is also a great manual for modifying your transmission. With or without having to buy kits or parts; just little tweeks with basic tools go a long way!

I have never rebuilt a transmission prior to reading this book and using for direction. I was able to to do my transmission rebuild with only the cost of the parts. Trans works better than it ever has.

My husband is a do it my way man and does all of the car work himself. From restorations to newer vehicles, he loves them. These books are very well written and easy to follow. Makes a great gift. He wants them all!

Pretty good book for the do-it-yourselfer. Covers most of the basics and is straightforward as to what needs to be addressed 4 performance applications. Just wish it had a little more about the aftermarket performance Products available.

Used this book to build my 350 and received great advice. First time out with my big block Camaro and it is the fastest and lowest ET the car has ever gone.
