I read this book over the span of about a year. I found it more for entertainment and personal interest while seeking God rather than very serious spiritual reading. Every time I would read a chapter, I would come from it feeling refreshed and closer to God, much like a cup of coffee for the soul. Sweet goes off on a lot of tangents, which may be aggravating to some, but if you just let go, Sweet does a great job of subtly making a point. It's nice to see things from a different perspective sometimes. One final note- his chapter on smell brought me to tears and stuck with me for weeks. That chapter alone made the book worthwhile.

This book should be on every Christian theologians' bookshelf. This is book one, of a three book series (or volumes).Although at first, I didn't know which book to get, so just get all three. There's plenty of good info in all three making it worth while and they're not overly priced. (Material is pretty much spread across all three volumes.)One reviewer stated it's "Old Info", but have the HVAC manufacturers done anything newer these days not requiring you to know anything within these books? And, if a HVAC manufacturer does have some newer product with bells & whistles (ie. power venter), they usually package an instruction manual including codes and advisories.The books go into a little more detail then I really needed for installing a boiler in my house. So overall, the books covered most of the details. The only item the books omitted, construction of a utilidor or similar access way (ie. 4 inch ABS with PEX pipes).Your other option, buying some $100-500 textbook(s).Remember, safety first. These books adequately detail draft & safety. When in doubt, call a licensed trusted contractor.I'll likely obtain the Kindle versions since I tend to travel, but am unsure of the quality of the diagrams contained within the Kindle versions. When books have diagrams, it was usually best to obtain the PDF. (Also, if you don't steal, beware of EBooks containing undisclosed DRM which will prevent you from reading the media on other devices!)

Cory Graff is the Military Aviation Historian at the Flying Heritage Collection museum in Everett, Washington. In his free time, he works on aviation-related history projects, including exhibits and books. His articles have been published in Air & Space Smithsonian magazineand the Museum of Flight's Aloft magazine. Graff is the author of five previous aviation books, including Shot to Hell: The Stories and Photos of Ravaged WWII Warbirds, Strike and Return: American Air Power and the Fight for Iwo Jima, and P-47 Thunderbolt at War. He lives in Seattle, Washington.

The type specific information on each plane is fully researched and professionally presented. The air-frame unique information personalizes and enhances the presentation. Airborne and under the hood photography could not be better done. It is magnificent. "Flying Warbirds" by Cory Graff is a new treasured favorite in my collection.

One of the best books on the subject. Absolutely stunning photography, and wonderful explanations of each aircraft in this collection. The time and money spent on location, restoration, operation, and preservation must be stunning, but in the air is exactly where each museum piece was designed to be. Any serious student of aviation history simply must have this tome in their collection.

This was one of my oldest son's Christmas presents and being the son of a retired AF pilot and advid WWII planes, this hit the spot. Daid it is one of the best books he has seen with wonderful photography and articles.

Great book for anyone who likes WW2 planes. Beautiful pictures of the planes at the Flying Heritage Collection in Everett. Very good writing about each plane..our son is the author of this and other books. Well worth the price and everyone who comes to visit,looks through the book.
